The Hangout
Open mic, open bar, open vibe happening until 2:00AM. Feel free to bring any activities of your choice and come to chill.

At the border, make sure to mention that you're traveling to Playa Del Carmen for pleasure, no work activities happening at this time.
Pickups will be happening in waves so check your assigned pickup time below. You’ll be escorted by representatives wearing beige pants and white polo shirts. The ride to the hotel will take approximately 30–45 minutes.

October 19–22! The 19th and 22nd are travel days.
Warm and sunny, with highs around 30°C (86°F) and evenings around 24°C (75°F). Check the forecast before you head out.
Nope! Gathering days don't count against your PTO, and neither do any extra days you need for travel. If you'd like more time off, like the Friday after, just submit a PTO request to your manager.
Yes, please! We won't be working, but it's good to have in case a client emergency or flight delay comes up. You should only travel with one laptop, so decide if the client or the MP laptop makes sense for you.
The Gathering is just for Multiplayers, since it's our rare chance to spend time together in person. If you'd like to extend your stay at your own cost, that's a great time to have your partner join you!
Meals on travel days (up to $120 CAD/USD per day), transportation to and from the airport, and a carry-on bag if your fare doesn't include one. You can expense this for reimbursement. Seat selection and checked bags are not covered.
Use your best judgment. If a client or deadline needs you, it's totally fine to open your laptop at the airport for an hour or two. Just set an out-of-office and let your team know when you'll be hard to reach.
Hydrocleanse is included with all treatments (approx 90 mins). First team can do hydrocircuits after their massage, other teams can do it before.

Nope! Everyone gets their own room (assigned at check-in) and we'll have the whole property to ourselves.
Absolutely. As long as you have noted them in your RSVP, they should have been accommodated for during our scheduled meal times.
Yes! All meals at the venue are planned and paid for by Multiplayer.
Not quite. It's à la carte, but Multiplayer covers the tab:
- Meals are served at set times, so keep an eye on the schedule.
- Pool drinks, snacks, and room service are available anytime.
- Everything is billed back to Multiplayer, so enjoy! Just keep it reasonable.
Yes! There's an open bar at meals, and you can order a drink (alcoholic or not) from the resort anytime.
Yes! Free time is built into the schedule. There's also a choose-your-own-adventure day, where you can pick from a few curated activities or just relax at the venue.

You're covered! Everyone has travel insurance through Multiplayer, and anyone coming from outside Canada or the US gets medical coverage too. You're welcome to buy extra coverage on your own if you'd like.
